Hey guys.. I have downloaded the pre-release v1.4.5, now I've decided to install all my mods in it.. Before installing, I want to ask if I can install v1.4.4 mods on v1.4.5? Will it cause any issue? I really want to install Risugami Modloader 1.4.5 and Single Player Commands 1.4.5Please help!

Depends entirely what they changed from 1.4.4 to 1.4.5 to be honest... Generally the answer is no, but all I can say is go-ahead and try I guess

I know that Forge allows for some backwards compatibility, but I'm not sure about ModLoader. I'd say just backup your Minecraft and test it out.

Generally the answer is no, but all I can say is go-ahead and try I guess For a minor version change I'd say that it's not likely anything significant changed. Your first sentence is correct though; it just depends on WHAT they changed. I've stopped using Modloader myself though; I just use Forge which has its own implementation and it works just fine out of the box. (currently have 56 mods installed: technic+ships&boats+minecolony RC20+customstuff+customOreGen+customEMC) (all of the last three so Iridium Ore would be generated as an ore block and so that I could manipulate it with alchemy) Ok sorry if that went OT a bit, just saying... Forge.
