I have had only one problem and its with the builder. You know the story, He gets stuck and stops building and just keeps walking back and forth. However now on my townhall4 he will make the noise and look like he's placing things down but he's really doing nothing.
I am on rc16. This is virtually unplayable at this point :/

As a temporary fix, change the variables that control infinite builder resources and instant building to true in the minecraft.properties file (.minecraft folder) - change them back again once he's finished the problem upgrade

Temp ban - Don't be a jackass, especially to the devs. He asked a very relevant question. RC16 has that error with the builder. RC16b does not. The download link for RC16b is here. Simply replace your current MineColony files with the ones from 16b, and it should fix your bug.

Hi guys,
got the same problem with 16b. Builder walked around a did nothing. Tried to build different buildings (house, hunters blind, miner). Everytime the same result, he walked around. I decided to kill him, so a new villager becomes builder, but that didn't work either. Setting the mentioned options in minecolony.properties fixed this issue for me.

How far away from the builders hut were the buildings you were trying to build ?

Invalid build signs placed anywhere? If you have 1 it doesnt matter how many valid ones are out there, he stays stuck in that loop, the minute you remove it he will go build the other buildings.

I also thought of invalid signs in the first time, but removing all signs and building a new one didn't help. The buildings/signs are all placed within the 100 block range.

Hmmm... Check the minecraft.properties file for the Builder range... I think the builder is default 50 blocks, not 100.. try upping the range to something like 200 temporarily.. Although if setting infinite resources on fixes the issue this shouldn't be the issue..
What are the buildings your trying to make.. are they higher tier ones involving wool ? If so he may be wandering around looking in all the other chests for wool (or possibly another block he needs) ?

Builder range was set to 100, but raising it to 150 or more didn't help. For now I switch the builder resources and instant building option on and off, everytime I want to build something. It cannot be a problem with missing resources. I tried to build tallwall which only needs wood and cobblestone. So I put those materials into the chests of my builders, into the warehouse chest and even into my own, wich are all within the working range. Sometimes I see that they are going into villagers houses and hang around the whole, day without doing anything. I will try to put the needed materials in those villagers chests, but I hope thats not the solution. It would be ridiculous if I had to place materials into nearly every house my builders could came up to.

You may want to host your world so we can try it and see what is the problem

This is a strange one. The problem is still that the builder thinks hes building (makes the sound) but doesn't build. Or is it that he keeps running around for resources.
Could you post modloader.txt?

I measured around a little bit. builders chest is 27by71 squares from constrution site, warehouse is 16by74 squares from construction site. Instead of going there to grab materials the builders want to get it from villagers chests, as mentioned before. I tested it an put the needed materials into the villagers chests and they used it! The villagers chests are about half the way between the builders house/warehouse and the construction site. As a workaround i put a chest with the needed materials near the construction sites, when they are "too far".
