Theres no way for it NOT to be a simulation. I just can't tell minecraft, 'lumberjack is swinging a gold axe, let me know what happens'. Theres no support in minecraft for that. I can only start and stop animations, sounds, and remove/add blocks.
If you want to say theres a bug because the lumberjack still chops even though he is 15 blocks lower than the branch, yes, its 'cheating'. Or the farmer hoes 5-10 blocks away, yes thats an issue too. The farmer is (i hope) being worked on. The lumberjack i won't fix (especially that part of it), for a long time. I cheat with the miner too, though i tried very hard not to.

At that point, why use MineColony? Why play Minecraft at all? Aside from the fact that it'd be hard to tell them what they can craft out of what materials, it'd also be pointless to be in charge of the colony, as you'd have pretty much zip to do with it after the buildings are up.
