For the brave, I have placed a 'beta' copy of minecolony out on mediafire. www.mediafire.com/download.php?nnea3w9jr7wj6y2There are 2 known issues with it. 1) Hunters dogs may not behave properly. 2) Doors are not facing correctly. With the new AI, i had to rewrite the hunters dogs. It is partially completed. They don't always attack when told, and i don't know if they die when the hunter dies. With the new Anvil engine, i believe they have updated the metavalues for doors. I haven't looked very hard into this. All i know is doors do not face the correct direction. This will likely mean a lexicon change or a code change. There are new floorplans and new sounds and a new npc, the baker. Please report bugs in this thread. Thank you.

All Bugs that I found so far: - Can not craft caliper. (recipe from wiki used)
- The women look like the skirt starts on the thighs.. Raise it a little? Prob make it longer because it might look more Old-fashioned if you do.
Oh.. this has been wrong for ages.. I always need to change it in the Properties.
- lookingForHomeMessage1=I am looking for home.
houseBuiltMessage1=I am so happy that I finally have real home. Instead of "I am so happy that I finally have A real home." and "I am looking for A home."
- I happened to put my townhall one block to high.. so i thought i would destroy it and one of two things would happen...
1. The settlers would stand still and automatically join the new townhall... 2. The settlers would despawn and i would start from scratch (but have the chests placed)
Well.. what happened was.. all the current settlers stopped wandering around and stayed attached to there chest (disallowing other settlers to use it) and didnt use the new townhall which resulted in a town hall that spawned new settlers and i would need to kill previous settlers /w chests and replace them.. follow me?
Workaround: Rename the World (I didnt test this)
- Builder collects "grass" blocks (longgrass) and puts them in his chest.
- First miner worked fine.. every time the second miner activated the miner chest he respawned (in the same spot) as a normal npc.. and tried to activate the miner chest again.. which resulted in a frozen half miner half normal npc that changed skins atleast 10 times per second.
- I came up to the woodcutter (who wasnt working) and he did NOT tell me anything.. He should have told me he was out of axes

Probably not your issue but mentioning just in case Craftguide showing bell recipe making hunters blind (in addition to hunters blind) but recipe does indeed make the bell. And the bell does work.
Yes, I believe the metadata for the doors was changed.
Have had very little time but so far so good.
Don't really have anymore time to play tonight. Bank did not cause me to crash ;D I have a growing number of mods again but still no forge (giving me issues plus no forge mods I really care about are ready)

YOu can solve destroying a town hall blocking a new one, by renaming the world I believe...

The caliper hasn't actually been a craft-able item for a long time now. I'd delete the wiki entry completely, but I don't have permissions there to do that.
Instead of posting a bunch of new posts, you can click the "modify" button on the top of your post and add to your older posts. Doing that makes it much easier to read.

Okay.. Deleted my posts and moved everything to the first post... Ill update that everytime I find another one. Ty for your hard work!
I used to use the caliper all the time.. now I cant craft it?

i love you long time for that minecolony finally for 1.2.3!! -I noticed the sign text still says: Build builder1, build town1, build miner1. -door bug (creepers can get in !!!) +Farmer no longer destroys his crops! GOOD JOB! +Builder seems to run to get more resources instead of walking? did u fix him up with steroids? +Dman sorts out the chests they way you want, if you put gobblestone in 1 chest he returns the rest of it there too. <- loving it

Deleting the mincolony.state file out of the save folder works as an alternative to renaming the world.
Like a bonehead, I put my builder and his house too close to the townhall last night. I remove their chests. Replaced them. Killed off the settlers who wouldn't update and even though new male moved into house he would not take the job. This was before I went to bed so I'm hoping reloading the game resolves it. (and reloading and 1 more murder did the trick, I have a new builder).
I like the new lumberjack. At first I thought the backpack was some kind of graphical glitch and then I noticed him fill it with wood and go unload. Nice touch. He still doesn't pickup apples (I don't know if he was supposed to or not). Seems to be doing better about keeping up with saplings and replanting. I have not tried trees other than oak yet.
Most of the forge mods arent updated yet and those are the ones with the ores in question. Forestry has updated but I'm haven't had any success with Forge yet.

Also let me know if the builders descriptions of what he needs is better. Check the dman too, he should take everything from the miners chest, and seperate it out back in his warehouse.

I'm glad to see you got the sorting bit in. I started moving stuff around the warehouse chests and dman is doing good. Of course you have to watch the builder. If he empties a chest of say wood then you need to go put 1 in again so dman sorts.
Also dman is bringing saplings back to warehouse? I'm not sure if this is intended. Im guessing he will deliver them back out to lumberjack when he runs out? So far the lumberjack is keeping up on replanting.
So far everything is looking really good. We just need to figure out the door metadata. I like the little tweaks in the buildings; a lot of them are stuff I do myself.
Dman still doesn't pickup stuff from the hunters blind.
Caliper recipe works by the way, it is an iron ingot top center and then 4 sticks arranged like you would make boots (bottom and midddle both sides). Caliper itself works too.
I looked again at craftguide and I see both the hunters blind & warning bell with the warning bell recipe. Also the normal hunters blind recipe is there. As I said last night, making the bell got the bell. The glitch might just be in craftguide.
Dman is also doing a good job removing crap from other chests; I have dumped stuff in the farmers and miners chests that doesnt belong there and he has brought it to the warehouse.

Also let me know if the builders descriptions of what he needs is better. All Good.. Two things though.. When he says "Building Glass Pane"(for example.. this happens with everything) he repeats himself.. so he says it twice.. Is "Wood" supposed to be logs? or Planks?

Town Hall 4 can't be completed or doesn't show the material currently needed. Killing the current builder, restarting Minecraft and sleeping don't fix the problem. He'll happily run over, replace all the dead grass under the hall then come back to complain. EDIT: builderInstabuild=true/builderInfiniteResources=true don't fix this either. EDITEDIT: Restarted it again... builder popped into action and finished the town hall, builder cheats were still on. Another bug, Lumbersmith cuts corner off of the level 3 lodge: Screenshotty

The item descriptions should be the same as when you bring up the inventory and hold the mouse cursor over the item.
The dman should bring all but 10 saplings back to the warehouse, same with seeds for the farmer. And 20 wheat for the baker.
