So, my boyfriend and I would like to play a challenge/adventure/survival/puzzle map together. Unfortunately, all the ones I could find were either singleplayer or... well... lame. EPICPUZZLEQUEST should have more than like 3 rooms, dudes.
So does anyone have any interesting maps? I'd obviously like a multiplayer one, but if you have a good single player map, post it anyway. I'm sure other people would be interested.

Survival Island v 1.1 is pretty good (1.7.3) Have to play it on normal/hard difficultly, and the first challenge is to survive with limited resources, Then there is some treasure you have to find, and a list of challenges (on the forums) that involve such things as building a scarecrow etc... Pretty good fun. Yogcast did you tube video of their attempt which spanned 11 episodes, although if you want to play this yourself, I wouldn't watch that first as it's a big spoiler

I watched the last few episodes for the Israphel stuff, but I didn't watch them go through the challenges.

I've been thinking about making an adventure map designed for two people specifically.

Can be done nicely with a few redstone circuits so that two things need to be interacted with simultaneously to progress

I know all about redstone too. I consider myself pre-expert when it comes to redstone, not expert solely because I have no desire to make complex ALUs with redstone, lol

Well Vega, consider me a lab rat. If you make a map, I'll play it. Might even convince my bf to let me record a video for youtube for you.

It'll likely take some time to do, minecraft is far from the only thing I do on the computer, lol

I hate it when I have great ideas and when I build it, it turns out badly...
This idea was one where the two people split up, one goes onto a platform in the middle of lava, the other goes up to a control room. Basically the goal is to shoot the skeletons with dispensers into the lava to prevent them from shooting your friend into the lava. Pressure plate under the friend starts a timer and if he's still there when the time is up, a pathway opens up.
Skeletons like to kill themselves in the lava, making this kinda boring.
Edit - Note to self, cover the redstone before placing lava. Critical oversight found, arrows from a dispenser dont have a knockback...

I tried to make something similar where players had to jump over pillars in a lake of lava, while skeletons on floating platforms were supposed to be shooting the players... Couldn't find a suitable way of stopping the skellies just walking off the platforms whilst still giving them decent LoS

great ideas here, there is a mod called "Walled Cities" and create above world and undergournd cities full of mob spawners, very challenging and fun to conquer a tower or two.
Also discovered a seed I called "Chaos" and spawned on an island with nothing on it. Had to swim all day to find and island with a single tree.
So far, a fun and relaxing one with the Walled Cities mod is a seed called "Medieval"
Cheers!

Edit: First, your image is broken. Second, if you're going to link to your PlanetMinecraft skins, you should probably put that in your signature, not in the main part of your post. Third, if you're going to post anything, please make it relevant to the thread, and not a random link.
