You can use scan function for the builder. Place the sign at the lowest lvl of the trap. Before doing this you should add lava to the default.lexicon (and scandefault). Add "la=11" Also you may add flowing water and lava, id's are 8 and 10. i tried the scan function with a 5x5x5 wooden planks house with a door in the middle of one wall so i placed the sign in front of the door and wrote scan 255 the builder came and the sign disappeared after that i renamed the file 0 in test and placed a sign with build test the builder came and startet buildung but nothing appeared only the sounds were there you know that dop...dop...dop... when he places something and after a few seconds he returned to his house, came back, did nothing and walked back to his house

there is a glich with a scan sign himself and you should change the floorplan manualy. scan 3 5 5
try to scan your trap and post the floorplan(file, not the text) here, i'll look at it.

nope, there are too many unknown blocks.. lexicon files still have no all existing materials, so you should add them manually to your scandefault.lexicon.

I'm feeling like I'm doing advertising for my own program, but have you tried the floorplan editor? It works with a custom lexicon file which contains new materials, like pistons, redstone, water, lava, etc. I think this lexicon file can be used for scanning floorplans, but I didn't try this yet.

It works with a custom lexicon file which contains new materials, like pistons, redstone, water, lava, etc. I think this lexicon file can be used for scanning floorplans, but I didn't try this yet. hmm i tried it but i always get some errors i cant even open the floorplan files with your editor... i just wait for the next update (if there will be one^^) and hope that the scan bug/glitch whatever is fixed and maybe the lexicon file is complete with every item there is in the normal game

I was playing around with the zeppelin mod today: www.minecraftforum.net/topic/488434-100-zeppelin-023-wip/ when i had a brilliant idea. "lets drop a control block on the colony ship" I said. Well that didn't work out so well, too many blocks, the sails would detach (zeppelin doesn't like diagonal blocks) and whenever i moved the ship it would leave holes in the water. I'm not one to give up so easily though. As you can see, no hull below sea level. Unfortunately I had to remove the lower deck. not a big loss, i left some chest in there and some gold and diamond for decoration. Someone said theres an option to grab diagonal blocks. Never could find it.

Someone said theres an option to grab diagonal blocks. Never could find it. there is. It's in the zeppelin config file line 7 ,usually in your .minecraft/config/ directory. There's also a setting for larger than 1024 blocks. I wanted to make it simple enough for those who don't want to be bothered with editing config files.

hello its me again after some time i tried to fix my mob trap so that the builder can build it without adding extra lines to the default and scandefault lexicon but unfortunately there is no lava so is had to add it^^ now is the question should i leave the trap as a ugly 25x6x25 cobblestone building or should i try to build a castle around it^^ of course i could just upload the trap and everyone can camouflage it by themselves so what do you think?
