Huh. I didn't know Lax ripped the buildings off from someone else. I don't play ToK.

I hope this is the right place for my question. So I made a floorplan, and it's scanned, but when builder build this house starts build 2 or 3 blocks under the ground level What can be the problem ? Where was the scan sign when you started? It locks in as the origin point, so if you placed the scan sign two blocks up then it will always be built two blocks off. If this is the problem, you can open the floorplan and edit the postioning. It should look like this: v2 Structure 3 0 4 The third line is the x y z coordinates. If the building is 2 blocks underground, just add 2 to the middle number.

I have a problem with the Church and Inn floor plans the floors aren't being built (The versions at least that are released with the current mod version at least) and the WallCastle and some other custom plans don't get built period (Builder treats it as a invalid floorplan, despite the spelling and case matching perfectly.)

I am planning to start work on a East India Co. Galleon, a Bell Tower, and a monument with 3 levels, the first 2 only being Under Construction.

A dev said in another thead that the old versions of floorplans aren't supported anymore. You have to update the floorplans. Not sure how to do that, as I haven't messed with floorplan files in a long while. Search for the post I'm talking about (and too tired to link to) or ask in a new help thread.

Probably just look at the default floor plans for guidance. And obviously change the floorplan version to 2.

Yesterday I tried scanning a large building but it did not work well at first. I looked at the geenrated floorplan and found that in many places, instead of inserting 2 characters to represent a block, the game had inserted a new line saying something like this:
Unknown block 55 meta 14
I was able to get the floorplan to produce a good result by replacing each of those lines with "CC", but I wonder if anybody here can tell me what that means.

Redstone has block id 55. Lexicon file doesn't support redstone. You can add redstone to the lexicon file, or don't scan redstone, or replace it with CC as you did, but don't leave it as new line. Make line before CC, line with "CC" and line after CC as one line.

So, the mod can't add new entries to the lexicon as needed? I have to do it myself? I'll look into that then. Thanks for the other advice; I figured it out myself, though, when I noticed that the builder was still placing blocks incorrectly in some layers. Right now the floorplan I have works well, although I suppose that without redstone torches some features of the original castle won't work. I'll see if I can fix that. Thanks for making this mod. If it's already this much fun in beta, I can't imagine how good it will be when you finish it.

I don't know whether redstone-torches work but the redstone-dust works great

I have a problem when scanning the structure I just finished. I set the numbers just like shown on the second post. but when I tell him to build it nothing shows up. In the file there is a whole bunch of "Unknown Block 44 meta 8" for example.

A lot of blocks aren't on the default lexicon file. Search on the forums for "lexicon" and you should find posts about adding blockIDs to the lexicon, and even some pre-made that you can copy/paste into your lexicon file. In fact, here's one: Almost Completely Complete Lexicon!

Hello everyone! I made a small tool to edit floorplans, and I would like to share it with you. This is not a final version, and there are a few bugs, but it can help to make quick changes in a floorplan file. It can create floorplans with a maximum size of 64*120*64. Unfortunately it doesn't handle commentaries yet, so you'll have to remove them from your .floorplan files before opening them. Example editing House1.floorplan: s3.noelshack.com/upload/14557843570050_house1.jpgMake sure you have a copy of your file before editing it! You can leave me a message by PM for any question or suggestion. UnOfficial Minecolony Floorplan Editor 0.2: www.mediafire.com/?a6229aoc16lse78Let me know if you liked it or hated it. (I apologize for my English, I'm French. I hope it's still understandable.) Links is down i made a cozy water-shack for citizens, but its quite hard to remake in a .txt file
