Actually it is MineColony ( for the AWESOMENESS ), MyPeople, BetterThenWolves, Shelf, Armor Stand ( use it to fill my " confrence room " with something other then empty furniture ), Airship ( great way to get around ) and Zeppelin ( great in the Nether for harvesting Glowstone ), ClaySoldiers ( for the Bunnies ) & Simply Horses. ( Pirate was turned off during testing )
I tried different mods because , while I DID get RC20 to work for me : it would not work in my existing world
no cause has been found before I found an alternative : but I am sure it has nothing to do with RC20 itself.
***Grandma wants Guards in her existing worlds : not just in new ones.
so back to RC19 and existing worlds:
to compensate I figured there had to be something close enough to fill the Guard Gap : and I found MyPeople.
a little " WIP " to say the least , with follow + mine the clone and I took on some Abandoned Mine shafts and did pretty well ( no Lava was present : which I already knew because I had been down there ) : but I can say the clone was not very annoying while in the shaft , it kept a good distance most of the time and mines pretty well.
no conflicts: just drop the folder into the Mods folder and off you go : Spawning AKA egg hatching seems to take forever, or I am just impatient : but takes several days.
I tried to spawn the clone on stone : nothing
I remembered the video showed the egg being hatched on grass so I tried that and it worked fine.
the clones can be set in options for lumber: mining : I stuck one in the Barracks and set it " hunt Mobs " ( turn off " follow " ) : it patrolled the inside of the Barracks, looked good enough that I think Grandma will like them for the existing worlds .
you can turn off the display over their heads : a feature MineColony "could use" but there are times that display is the difference of "life and death" to a citizen stuck someplace
a few times I have seen the display and rescued a citizen before they tried to swim in Lava or were stuck and a mob was heading toward them... one bump with the Creeper and it's Crater Time.
these clones in MyPeople seem like good companion SideKicks , especially for mining : the page SAYS they can be used like ClaySoldiers but I don't think I want a 2 block tall warrior running amok in my villages ( yes, they start small , but they GROW )
Growing : I took the clone to my Medieval House ( love those houses but I have to extend the balconies so they are useful for archery practice on Mobs )
Anyway : I was heading to the basement to put away the stuff we mined and I see " something " at the front door : the front and rear of the house have wooden slabs for a decking so I KNEW it was not a regular Mob ( they avoid 1/2 slabs "usually" ) and there was this 2 block tall clone wanting to come in the house )
well, I figured that since she was now grown into a He ) I would set them up in the Barracks and see how they do
they did great : I think Grandma will approve
and I think you will too if you add the MyPeople to your colonies to help you and the villagers to cover any gaps ( I KNOW your firing those Miners for tearing up the place on a regular basis : the clones are easier to control the behavior of )
