Make sure you're using the correct version of Minecraft and ModLoader. Find your modloader.txt file and post the contents.

Eventually a settler should find the chest and then become a builder. If you don't have any settlers around that don't have jobs, then place a new house chest to get one.

Well put, lemenade.
Scott is still working on this mod, but completely by himself, in his free time. If you don't like how long it takes, learn java.

I'm closing this thread to encourage new users to post new threads, instead of just adding their problem to an existing thread.

You can find most of the versions available for download on this forum. The most recent is always in a news post, which shows at the top of every board. The most up to date version for this mod is for Minecraft 1.2.5.

It is just one skin to change... if you want all your farmers to be mexican and all your miners to be black. Not really any better, imho. What starz is talking about is having random skins be chosen, as in not all your delivery men look exactly like each other.
It's easy to change the skins yourself if that's what you want to do. The hard part is finding an image editor that still uses plain pixels instead of vectors... I was so irritated when I found out MSPaint went vector... I mean, who the f--- uses MSPaint for anything but pixel art anyway?
If MineColony is installed, you can find those files in your Minecraft folder: minecraft>mods>minecolony .zip file > mob BACKUP THE ORIGINALS; save a copy of the WHOLE DAMN FOLDER somewhere ELSE. Then simply open up the ones you want to change in your image editor and save.
That's how I got all the icons and block textures for this forum.

Sometimes he keeps things in his personal inventory. There's been issues with that before, but it's not actually a common issue.

Then one of two things happened: The dudes died, and they'll respawn on their own eventually OR they got lost somewhere. Either way, the house is marked as claimed.
Put down some more houses. If your houses aren't leveled up, just break the citizen block and re-place it to have it reset who lives there. Then only a dude who could actually get to the house will be able to claim it.

Check and make sure your extra citizen huts aren't claimed.
