Can you include the blank building version for Mine Colony? I want to create everything by myself rather than use the "official building"

You'll need to rename the blank one to cover all the "official" floorplans as well (i.e. House1, House2) as the chests won't recognise upgrades otherwise...

What WOULD be great is if the mod had an option to enable a "don't build buildings with upgrades" option in the minecraft.properties file

got an error message when I tried to install the floorplan editor. the message was:
"Cannot download the application. the application is missing required files. contact application vendor for assistance."
I clicked on the setup file to install it from there. also it was in french at the beggining.

It looks like the program is already installed or you don't have permission to install it. Or the ZIP file has not been downloaded correctly, and some files are corrupted.
-First, check in your "start" menu if you can find the application : "Lilleman"/"Minecolony Floorplan editor 3.0b".
-If not already installed, try to open an Administrator session and to install it.
-The ZIP file must be 1.39MB large, it contains 2 files (the setup, and the ".application" file) the "Application files" folder must contains 5 files. If not, try to re-download it.
If it's still not working, you can send me a screenshot of your "French error"? I will take a look at it.

The error report was not in french only the terms or conditions was french, but I was able to understand "accepter"
but anyways I found the problem, by default my PC opens the file in 7zip, I tried to open it with windows explorer and it worked.

This could happen for a couple of reasons:
-the "Header" of the floorplan is not formatted correctly, and the editor can't read it: The header has to be very specific, and this version of the editor is not compatible with old versions of Minecolony's Floorplans. A correct Header will be (remove everything after "//"):

-The file you try to open is too big: If you try to save a very tall building (?*120*?), you won't be able to open it again, because of a bug I missed before releasing. You'll have to open you floorplan file with a text editor, and remove the last level of your building (sorry about that, I will fix this)
If you try to load a very large building (>384*?*>384), make sure you choose the correct workspace size at the opening of the editor: the basic workspace was made to run on a laptop with 2GB of RAM, but if you have more, you can set the workspace up to 1024*120*1024.
If none of this works, you can send me your floorplans, I will fix them and send them back to you.
EDIT: also, sign position don't handle negative values: minimum position will be "0 0 0".

I'm working on the next version of the editor, trying to make it compatible with rc17 new floorplans (walkways and walls), and make it working without a custom lexicon file. I know there are some bugs I missed, so if you want them to be fixed, please let me know what they are. For now, the only bug I fixed was an issue when loading a floorplan higher than 119 blocks. So there's plenty of room for improvement. Also, I'm adding a small feature to help people edit/translate the minecolony.properties file: (Almost done, I'm working on the quests creator/manager) I think this may be released this week.

I didn't know about the maximum height, That means I have to work on the next version already.
