Okey, so i have been trying to install Minecolony now for 2 says, and i just cant understand it!
Maybe im a moron but i do think of myself as kinda intelligent so this really effects my ego.
Let me get down to it, first of all, i do NOT own a legit copy of minecraft, i will probably in the future but so far im kinda bored of the game, until i saw this mod.
But what i have understood i need a copy of minecraft 1.2.5, i have downloaded maybe 5-6 different releases but none of them works with modloader, i have tried EVERYTHING (very much an overstatement, but still) so i am so frustrated cuz i just want to play this fantastic mod! I have even deleated ALL mincraft related folders and files so i dint have anything that was spooking. I only get blackscreen, or that i have a corrupt java file.
I will say the steps i have understoop is the correct way. Get MC1.2.5,Modloader and ofc Minecolony, put all modloader things in the minecraft.jar file then place the minecolony files in their folders. Then open minecraft, i either get that modloader has crashed or just blackscreen!
So my questions is. 1.2.5 MC or other version that can be downgraded The REAL lnk for modloader 1.2.5 Some other info on what the problem might be
If you know the answer to any of these question please leave a reply! Im sorry for the long post, but i am so desperate for help.
Regards Manno

The technical things I don't know: I do know forge does not play well with others, but Forge warns about that. make sure everything you are using is cool with your forge: strip them out and add them back in one at a time. minecolony was meant to play simply with ModLoAder : in my own game I only use ModLoader and have the best -yet-worst Mod you can get if you find others you want to add ; Better then Wolves : BTW does not play nice with other mods, but I have a nice collection of mods that work well with it and Minecolony is such a great Mod for minecraft. Wish you luck the lights are on in Little Tokyo L.A., time to get out and enjoy

I think that ModLoader and Forge for 1.2 5 don't play well together, so that might be your problem. Try installing just ModLoader and MineColony, and see if it works by itself.
