I Told you guys the latest versions were buggy then a Microsoft Product and the new releases would not be worth trying to keep up with: 1.2.5 is the most stable, everything after that is just pushed out junk in a box.

Personally I AM a FAN OF GREAT MINDS getting together to do Great Things I do not exactly think the new Colonies are , compared to Minecolony, the best work from the new team: but they are trying hard on a very new effort and doing AWESOMELY well. But I do agree: minecolony is a history maker in itself. the world the player can create with it, the user floorplans, plus other Mods that work great with it out of the box ( without IDResolver, Forge, etc....) make Minecraft enjoyable again. Unfortunately, even with the obvious ploy to offer/ suggest to buy a new release ( put it up for sale, not as a donation thing ), the Old Team is not motivated. but the New team is moving along at great speed. I Never could communicate well with code writers, they are a strange creature to me. but the New team is still Great and their efforts are worth waiting to get the results of

Nobody has contact with the old devs. Seriously. Only Rscott is maintaining contact with the forum, and HE can't even get ahold of the others. He doesn't have time to do the mod on his own.
To update the mod, it'd have to be a complete re-coding, with the changes between 1.2.5 and 1.3. It's no less work than the new mod... and no, the new mod is NOT going to be just a copy. It's going to have a few of the basic elements of MineColony, and be pretty damn different aside from that.
TL;DR: There is no way to get what you're asking to happen. Period.
