The attached floorplan, which I wrote, can be built in game by making a sign Build dbox . The builder makes the prescribed building, but once he finishes (or is almost finished) it produces a "Saving Chunks" crash, and everytime I load that world, it waits about 3 seconds, then crashes. I have to break the sign to prevent the crash. Help! Here's the floorplan v 1 'dbox 4 0 0 ' coords x, y, z left, height, down level 1 dd..dd ...... dd..dd level 2 ...... ...... ...... level 3 ...... ...... ...... level 4 ...... ...... ...... level 5 ...... ...... ...... level 6 ...... ...... ...... level 7 dd..dd ...... dd..dd Attachments:

yes, I need someone to verify that this happens to them and not just to me.
Make sure that you backup your world before testing! One of my worlds was corrupted from the saving chunks crash this generated.

It may help to get a crash report. Quoting myself so I don't have to redo it: Ok. This page has a way to guaranteed get an error report. So try that. If you do it correctly, you should get an error report when Minecraft crashes.

this:
java -Xms512m -Xmx1024m -cp "%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\*" -Djava.library.path="%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\natives" net.minecraft.client.Minecraft returns this:
Error: Could not find or load main class C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\lwjgl.jar .
If I just do the traditional
java -jar minecraft.jar , the game launches.
This is where it gets weird.
I create a new world. I choose creative because i get infinite stuff. I make a townhall box, citizen box, then a builder's box. Soon I have a builder.
I order him to make a dbox. It builds fine.
I quit the game "save and quit to title". Close minecraft, then open it again. Load up the world again.
I order the builder to make another dbox. This time it produces saving chunks crash!
From the command prompt, the error was:
C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft/resources/floorplan/dbox.floorplan java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "x" at java.lang.NumberFormatException.forInputString(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Integer.parseInt(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Integer.parseInt(Unknown Source) at EntityBuilder.getBuildingLevelFromFilename(EntityBuilder.java:1484) at EntityBuilder.getNextBlock(EntityBuilder.java:1408) at EntityBuilder.workerUpdate(EntityBuilder.java:441) at EntityWorker.w_(EntityWorker.java:388) at EntityBuilder.w_(EntityBuilder.java:107) at rv.a(SourceFile:1268) at rv.f(SourceFile:1244) at rv.l(SourceFile:1178) at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.k(SourceFile:1384) at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.run(SourceFile:666) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

Did you try to use this as a floorplan for the citizen or something? If so, it wants a building level in the file name, like Farmer1.floorplan.
I'll have to fix it in any event, but either give it a number or don't use it as a standard building plan.

It's not any sort of "Building" that goes with any sort of box. It's just a thing i want a builder to make whenever i use a sign to ask.
Anway, why does it crash only after the world has been saved then reopened?

Okay. Having fixed this last night, i think i understand it better. After the builder finishes the floorplan, he looks around for a block to increase its level. (he looks 10 blocks all around). If he finds a block then he tries to figure out what 'level' the floorplan is and its here he crashes.
I don't know of any workaround other than to remove the sign at this point and don't place it down within 10 of any worker blocks. You may not have time to do this.
