Hello guys,
as you can read in the title, my MineColony does not work properly.
I have placed my Town Hall, my Builder and my Miner in the desert, but there is normal land near to the Town Hall (don't know how far). I've increased the Town Hall's range, etc., but my Villagers don't become a lumberjack or a farmer.
I've placed the Lumberjack and the Farmer Block on grassy land near/next to trees, but no one becomes a farmer/lumberjack.
Is there any way to "force" them?
Regards, Mythos
PS: This mod is great, I like this system, because I hate Millenaire, because it adds pre defined villages and this mod adds some economy (ores, stone, wood, food, money, bla)! :-) Just one thing is bad: My Miner hangs on a place if there's a copper ore (Industrial Craft 2 installed by Technic Pack 4.4)

How many citizen blocks do you have, and how far away (roughly) is the farmer block from the nearest citizen block?
Does the miner hang no matter where the copper ore is?

The copper ore was under him, "replacing" it with a vanilla block fixed this, but it would be annoying to replace those blocks all the time...
well the first 8 villagers are in the town hall, where 1 male one should be unemployed and I think the farmer block is < 100 blocks away from it.

Citizens don't get jobs until you give them a home. You need to place one citizen chest for every 2 citizens, so 4 for the 8 that spawn after placing the town hall.

The citizens won't work until they have a proper citizens block. Staying in the townhall doesn't work for them.
I'll have to try out a long distance farmers block. I think i've seen it work for distances of 50, but i'll look.
Let me know if the copper block screws up the miner no matter where it is. I'll have to install IC or more ores to see what the issue is.

Well placing the citizens block solved this problem, they now have a "home" and my economy is working now.

Don't forget if you want 5 workers, you not only need to place the citizen block, but also need to build the level 1 house..

which side is pink? if its the top, then likely something is messed up with the images location.

What are the main problems between the two mods?

I would have sworn I had those two running at once in 1.8.1

I'm sure they run together.. But by compatible I mean get the miner to successfully mine IC2 ores

I've also had them mining it all up, they might not get to it every time, but they get it occasionally... however the delivery man wont pick it up
