Destroying their citizen chests usually works ^^

I bet that usually would- but doesn't it set the house level to 0? ... but heres the update: I checked my citizen chests and most were occupied, but the citizen's ranks (like noble, aristocrat) had been reset. This is in the half of my town that I hadn't changed. I ended up just killing the freeloaders who migrated to my other townhall (they didn't respawn) But my townhall chest stats on rank, pop. number are all completely wrong. Guess I'll have to do away with the citizens chests the aristocrats took AWHILE to get, might a dev make it all worth it by taking note? Whether its a bug or me hopefully the info will help minecolony somehow.

The town hall has a range... if you don't have your chests in that range, your settlers won't read them... so you have to either keep your town hall in range of your other buildings, or change the town hall's range in the properties file.
I think.

I havn't checked the range of the townhalls, but I know (by experience) that the mod won't allow you to place chests if you're outside the townhall range*. I originally wanted to stick my workers somewhere else by moving their chests and the townhall chest, but they went to another townhall... screwing up all my stats and making the new problem. Setting up the new mining operation is nbd *it says you must build a townhall there b4 you place that chest

Multiple town halls is problematic noted ;D to mods / coconut curry, is there a "Dos and Don'ts" section anywhere in the wiki or these forums? Also offering my time on the wiki, if needed

At the bottom of the Main page on the wiki is a link to the Tutorials page. There's a Quick Start section there. That's about as close to a "Dos and Don'ts" section as the wiki gets.
There's the FAQ and the "How Villagers Work" threads in the Help section of the wiki, but again, not a specific "Dos and Don'ts" thread.
If you'd like to make one for the forum, feel free! Toss it in the MineColony and/or Help boards. As long as it has useful info presented in a clear manner, I'll sticky it so it doesn't get lost.
As for the wiki? There's lots of stuff that needs to be done on it. I've been busy with other things and haven't been able to keep working on it lately. >.< If you don't know where to start, I have a list of things I meant to work on somewhere on the forum. I wouldn't mind at all if you picked one of those to start with, just to get the ball rolling.

I'll take a look at that to-do list (where's it?), and see if I can do maybe 2-3 hours work a week on it. I noticed (and really like) the thread on community floorplans. What's the story on this minecolony.wikkii.com/wiki/Talk:Floorplans ?

Someone made a page and wanted people to post their floorplans there, but the wiki isn't really set up well for that kind of exchange. Coconut's ToDo List. The new build added the Hunter and the Warning Bell. I think the Hunter has a (mostly empty) page already, but the info still needs to be updated. I doubt the Warning Bell has a page at all though.
