I was wondering if it were possible that if you had multiple floorplans with the same name could the builder cycle between them at random?
For instance lets say we made a bunch of copies of house4, each with a different color roof.
Failing that by the way, I guess it is simple enough to switch floorplans in and out of the folder in between builds to accomplish the same effect.

To Implement this you would need to distribute the floorplans House1a House1b House1c and re-programme the game to select one at random...

or maybe have it look at a folder and pick one randomly from the folder
If you did folders say house1 house2 and so on then you could just put all the option inside the folder.
The one issue i could think of would be upgrading. If it randomly picked house1a then may upgraded to house2b the size and shape may not be the same.

Good point Milso. Could make quite a mess.
Much easier just to swap files in and out between builds. Especially since you don't even need to quit the game in between, just make sure the builder isn't currently building the floorplan you are swapping.
Would be doable the way Pmardle says if you then forced it to use any future upgrades from the same path but I would much rather see new npc types and other features go in than anyone diverting coding time to this.
