I think this was asked before but I cannot find the thread. Is there a way to make deliverymen ignore citizen chests and only go to the worker chests? That would cut down on how long it takes the deliveryman to do his rounds drastically.

I'd say leave it as it is, just impliment the delivery boy TAKING food to the chests.. When the mod runs as it should, you will need to supply them with food to keep them happy.. I think this is why he goes there in the first place...

You can't. I think I suggested removing the houses from the citizen chests and having the wives go and pickup food (which gives them a function if they remove terminator mode from them, which I also would like to see)
While I still haven't seen any efficiency problems with the deliveryman even building a pretty spread out town, I still tend to only make 1 of each worker type and 1 house for each.
Since having multiple deliverymen is 1. problematic and 2. really not very sensible (the whole point of him is concentrating resources in 1 place) it seems a better alternative.

Can you add a new deliveryman for any level of the warehouse?? I make an example: -level 1 deliveryman 1 salary:1 -level 2 deliveryman 2 salary:3 more efficent more expensive -level 3 deliveryman 2 salary:2 more efficent but cheap

Besides the fact that that'd probably be complicated to code, it makes no sense for lvl 3 to be cheaper than lvl 2. Also, I would absolutely HATE to have the delivery man be less efficient. It's not like he's perfectly efficient as it is!

i like the idea of adding more deliverymen for each building level. if my builder has to leave town to get wood from the lumberjack instead of taking it from the warehouse, he needs more time to build. the second deliveryman could be just walking to the citizen chests, so the first one can concentrate on going to the lumberjack, miner and farmer.

More wasn't what was suggested though. Having multiples screws up their pathing anyway.
