I tried keeping up with the wiki a long while back, and got overwhelmed. If you have specific things I can help with, feel free to send me a PM, and I'll lend a hand.

whenever the wiki is mentioned, would it be possible to post the address too, as everytime I see mention, I excitedly look around for the address and can't find it.
Going to google goes to the old site too, so that's no use either.
even on the board index, there isn't a clear link to the new up-to-date wiki. Would it be possible to put some useful website links as a sticky or something?
it does seem strange how the "official" and very out of date site gets more links than the unofficial but much more relevant site is almost hidden! :-)

Most people who mention one of those sites are just regular users, who don't think to include the addresses of those pages. The Google site is still the official site for the mod. The other site is run by a forum member, and not by any of the actual dev team. There is no new wiki. Thanks to allardj, it's more up to date, but it's not completely so, and no one person can do it all. (Actually, there is an entire section on this forum for the wiki, that nobody uses.) You can actually click the link in my sig to get to the wiki... It'll bring you to my userpage, but there's a home link on the left of the page. I *thought* I put links up in the FAQ, but I'll check, and if not, I'll figure something out.

I am very confused!! i am sure a while ago ( few mths maybe) i found much more info on the Minecolony wiki on items required and size for each building. I can't find any of that info now. Is there another site i may heave seen it on or is there somewhere i can be directed to so i can find that info. I am trying to fully plan a town (making sure it all fits) without overlapping any buildings. Also i did try to access the builder plans in the minecraft directory but it says i don't have a program to open them, what do i need to do to see the plans?
Thanks for any help.

I'll have to look at the wiki pages and see what's up. On the top of the page, there's a history tab. You can look at previous versions of the page on that tab.
The reason your computer thinks you can't open the files is because the extension is .floorplan... just open them with any text-editing program, like notepad.
