I think it would be cool for the next update if citizens moved between towns and become citizens of a different town or just visit/vacation in another town. I also think it would be cool if their was a rail system that builders could build that would transport citizens between towns.

The problem with rails traversing a large distance is that they're really expensive unless you have a massive stockpile of iron.
I'm sure that separate towns would be possible in the long run though, I just think it might take an overhaul of the code to make it possible.

The main problem with multiple towns is that chunks get unloaded when the players move too fat away, and the towns would have to be pretty seperate so the AI didnt get confused. Other mods have solved this by having a chunk-loader block that basically just keeps that chunk in memory even if the player is far away, bit that can cause a lot of memory issues.

Millenaire automatically freezes other villages when you move too far away, I suppose they didn't want to deal with the chuck stuffs. That system works fine with Millenaire but it wouldn't be as good with Minecolony, as you'll want them harvesting without you nearby
