I Wish That I Could Just Place The Lumberjack Chest Or Miner Chest And The Person Just Spawn Instead Of Waiting Until Someone Wants The Job If You Have A Download Link To An Older Version Plz Post It In The Comments

Wow Typing Like This Is Annoying.
I actually like the fact that my workers now have homes! It seemed so mean to make them sleep wherever they worked. I also like that there's different buildings, and that you have to think about how you set up your colony. I got bored of MineColony after only like 2 days when I played and workers just spawned.

What would be the point of building villager houses and all that if the workers just spawned when you placed the chest? That sounds terribly... boring, and simple.

I agree, I fully enjoy the complexity of actually having to set things up propperly for the village to function. And am looking forward to when you have to keep them happy as well.
It stems from the fact that Stronghold Crusader is still one of my favorite RTS games. Build your town, research improvments, build an army, defend your area while destroying the apponents, standard RTS, but if you can't keep your people happy at the same time, they will desert you.

I am not as against it as most of you. My mother said her house was in the back of her fathers workplace (a child of the depression). So i don't think its unrealistic.
I would do it but only if i could think up a negative. I prefer giving choices that work better in some cases but not others. In this case, somehow making the worker produce less (maybe sleep later?) or some other drawback.
I have no plans on doing this yet. One more npc to do after the defense. Just wanted to give you my feelings...
