- "Recall Citizens" from the Town Hall didn't return my guys. My starting guys went spelunking and fell into a one-way cavern of some sort. REI MiniMap showed them as dim green dots nearby, so I know they are down there. But they can't path out, won't teleport, and won't starve. I've tried deconstructing all chests but that didn't work; still shows 8/8 settlers when I place the town hall again, none of which can do any work. All chests were just chests, not buildings if that matters.
- The builder clears out obsidian blocks without without needing any kind of diamond tools, but they don't show up in his inventory.
- He also mines out and delivers to his chest blocks of bedrock.
- Guards are treated as Hostiles, which causes the following problems:
- Guards cause the "You can't sleep now, monsters nearby" message
- Guards show up as red enemy dots on REI's MiniMap
- Guards are attacked by Thaumcraft defensive seals
Q: "How many Microsoft Engineers does it take to change a lightbulb?" A: "None: They just declare darkness to be the new standard." - scanning doesn't work properly. I scanned a candidate for changing the design for townhall, made mostly of wood, glass panes, some glowstones, some water source blocks, 4 blocks of farmed land, and 4 roses, then tested it out on the same world using the same builders. I had my floorplan folder open. I know they name the scanned file according to the last one they scanned (3 in this case.) When they started building, it was one block higher, water was everywhere (not flowing, not updated), some wool here and there and they demanded an ungodly amount of enchanting tables. My other scans (villager apartments for villager infinity breeding) worked though. - why doesn't upgrading work when using edited floorplans? All my houses got stuck in basic, just enough to house the villagers. I had the same thing happen when I was using scan, and a careful look into the resulting floorplan file revealed that there were "Unknown" blocks listed in the levels. Trying to build a file with the text "Unknown id meta 2" or whatever in the middle of a level is why we got bizarre enchantment table requests. Another thing that may be related is at the top of the file, the line that usually reads "@include default.lexicon" was instead "@include scandefault.lexicon" Also, the builder is probably not constructing containment blocks for water first. I once saw someone build a building that had sand blocks in it, and the sand blocks got built before the support, so they just fell through and messed up the construction. The current builder seems to start at the back bottom and work toward the front top in a sort of approaching diagonal plane, so I'm guessing the failed sand video was from an older version of the builder.

Re: Disappearing sound
I've also noticed my that sound stops playing occasionally. Using whatever MCForge version that was out when RC20 came out. Also using Ships and Boats mod, so I don't know that MineColony is the culprit.
I have NOT had to reinstall. The problem corrects itself after awhile for me. Don't know what might be triggering the problem or what might be causing it to correct.

A (probably) small one: clicking on the button to transfer funds from the Town Hall treasury to the player's inventory transfers all the money, even of the inventory does not have enough space for it. Any money that does not fit is lost.
This is not so bad if you transfer funds regularly, but I you forget to do so for too long you stand to loose quite a lot of money. It would be nice if the button only transfered as much money as you can carry, and leave the rest in the Treasury.

Lumberjack is losing saplings. He also doesn't want to place saplings. Not sure what's going on here but I tried establishing a lumber operation on a plains area. There were sparse amounts of trees so I gave my lumberjack a full stack of saplings and... nothing. He didn't plant a single one. It kind of looks like he doesn't want to place one where there was no tree previously so maybe it's planned that way and not a bug? If so it would be better if the lumber jack could deal with the shortage of trees on his own. Either way he should not be losing saplings into thin air like that.

Yeah the coding is such that the lumberjack will only plant when he cuts a tree.. Easy to solve, just throw bown a bunch of saplings around his area yourself.. Once they are grown, he will cut and replace them (assuming he has saplings)

The problem I have with the lumberjack is that he doesn't collect saplings, and then he magically runs out long before he should.

The problem I have with the lumberjack is that he doesn't collect saplings, and then he magically runs out long before he should. Strange, I thought he was collecting them and then eating them or something. I'll THROW some at him and they vanish like he picked them up but then he never reports having them when I right click him. And of course, never plants them or deposit them in his chest. I'm pretty sure that this is all because villagers aren't coded to eat yet and he's hungry so he's consuming the saplings, which have almost no nutritional value. Hence why he can eat 2 full stacks of them and still not be full.

The lumberjack does seem to work worse in RC20 than he did in RC19. On the other hand, I haven't had the opportunity to test RC20 on a fresh install, so there may be other things going on.

Don't know if anyone's noticed this one.
The delivery man can get into a shoving match with another worker who is trying to walk into the square in front of a chest and neither one able to access the chest. Ive seen it most with the miner and the lumber jack. Going over and pushing one or the other away resolves the issue.

Well, my builder refused to build TowerWatch3, but I just built the city3 then TowerWatch4. Also, can we see a future as to where guards are treated as passives, like wolves? So many issues with other mods cause of them being treated as hostiles.. Edit: scratch that. He won't even build the 3rd of anything on that tower. But I've had two other towers that are level 4. He just walks up, places a single dirt block, and leaves.

The recipe for Iron Scepter conflicts with and overrides the recipe for RedPower Screwdriver. I've never used a scepter, but I often need a screwdriver, so I have to cheat screwdrivers in. Well, my builder refused to build TowerWatch3. I just built all the way up to TowerWatch4, no problems. Except that the guys often jam up, so I took down the door and adjacent walls to give them space. Maybe your builder doesn't have some material he needs. You can find out by walking over to where the builder is standing, and he'll report if he needs something.

You can find out by walking over to where the builder is standing, and he'll report if he needs something. Definitely not. He takes down the build sign as well. It's not like he's waiting for materials he just acts as though the building is done. If I keep putting the sign back up, he advances a little further then quits. (sometimes he gets past 1 block) I find it usually happens if I've changed styles in between build levels. When it happens, it's hard to get the builder to finish building that tower. The only way I've found to fix it once it gets into that state is to tear down the tower chest and start over from scratch. I also exit and restart the game before re-planting the tower chest. Then I immediately select the desired final tower style and begin building / upgrading.

Does TowerWatch3 ever work? This seems like it may be a filename issue. Is this under Linux/Mac? Is the case of the name listed the same as the file in the folder?

1. When a builder is building, every once in a while a breaking iron pickaxe particle is created next to the player. 2. The hunters blind and warning bell have some minor issues in risugami's Recipe Book Mod.
