The delivery man also doesn't grab tools from the warehouse, only from his personal chest.
And he removes bedrock.

You could use Builcraft pipes to move items from Farmers' chests to the Baker's chest, I guess.
On a more serious note, I think my delivery man is also failing to pickup tools from the chests in his workshop, unless I keep the tools in the main chest.

The delivery man deliberately ONLY takes items from the Main Chest. I agree this is a limitation, but without a LOT of logic code behind the mod it makes it difficult to open up all chests to him (or you'll find him robbing stuff from random chests like the builder does etc.) A DOUBLE size main chest would help a lot IMO I have 4 farmers and 4 miners in my colony and I am forever filling up the chest with tools

I agree this is a limitation but without a LOT of logic code behind the mod it makes it difficult to open up all chests to him (or you'll find him robbing stuff from random chests like the builder does etc.) The Builder already has code in place to both deliver items to warehouse chests and draw resources out of warehouse chests, and furthermore to sort incoming items into those chests according to whatever you put into them. This applies to mod items as well; he will happily sort Thaumcraft crystals and relics wherever you choose. The limitation feels a bit heavy handed to me, that I'm forced to play in a designated manner. I've set up automatic crafting tables downstairs hooked into a crafting logistics pipe grid, attached to a supplier logistics pipe under the Delivery Man's chest, which requests two of each tool. It works, and I never have to build another tool. What I'de like to see is the ability to mark say Emerald or Thaumite Axe as an axe that the Delivery man will deliver to the Lumberjack, and that the Lumberjack will use to cut down trees. Freedom: It's not just a word.

Can't they just have it so you can put a sign over or next to the box that opens the box up for the d-Man?

Is it really just 3 wheat? or is it just that the farmer only has 3 wheat ready by the time the dman comes around.
When the blacksmith (toolmaker) is out, you won't need to make tools yourself. But this still leaves a problem where the dman will have to deliver stone to the blacksmith and therefore the stone would have to be in the outgoing chest. So i am going to have to change how the dman works and let him take from all chests.

I think it is only 3 wheat that they deliver. and if you try to put more than that in the bakers chest, the delivery man will take all but the 3 away. this really is grosly limiting the ammount of bread able to be made.
