I thought Peter was going to put a wiki on his site? I don't know. And I just realize that wikispaces isn't a good place for me (you have to pay if more than 5 pepole wants to create an account etc.). Wikia is better.Tomorrow I proably move it to Wikia.

I can host one on my site via a Wordpress plug-in.. Shouldn't cost a bean, no adverts and we have full control...

Appointing an admin is a mixed bag. The pro is that an admin can alter the css files to change things like link color, and block vandal ips. The con is that nearly anyone wishing to be an admin is likely to exercise authority.
Which devolves into police work; read only, write with permission required, approval processes, and the like. And of course all that breaks as soon as the admin becomes overwhelmed, distracted by other things, or loses interest.

Ok, I now have a MediaWiki installed on the Minecolonymod.net site.. Go to the Main Minecolonymod.net page and click the Wiki link in the menu to get to the main start. Basic account creation is required to edit the wiki, rather than allowing anyone not logged in to edit (can change this if needed) Coconut and Hardcore, if you let me know when you've created your accounts i'll bump you to super admin, or whatever the highest lvel of access/editing is Benefits of this wiki.. NO ADVERTS (as I pay £16 a month for the hosting package) Full configuration control FTP access to back it up if wanted. If you come across any other settings that need changing, let me know !! Cheers, Peter

Peter's site already has a lot of good content he developed: it would be a good idea to leverage that content in order to begin creating the wiki, I think.
I've often wanted to contribute to the other wiki, but I find that I either don't have the time, or I don't know enough about the subject to write a complete, coherent article.

Well on Peter's wiki you can't make an table. But it's still awesome.

You can make tables in any wiki. I'll work on it on my next day off.
I'm just going to edit the other wikis to include a link to the new wiki AFTER we have a few articles done. Again, I'd like some suggestions on info to include on pages so I can make templates... which will make creating pages a lot easier, and make them easy to read and understand.
