Hi all! First and foremost I must say I love Minecolony and wouldn't like minecraft without it. Secondly I havew read the FAQ and googled my error log but couldnt find what might be causing it. Thirdly, I have quite a big village with some 50 villagers, 3 builders, 2 miners, and 2 lumberjacks. I use RC20 and use barracks, 2 watchtowers, and 2 hunter towers. Now onto the problem, Sometimes I can play for an hour or more without it crashing but lately it has gotten more frequent. It is the same critical error everytime (last 5 logs anyways) Here is the log, what could be the problem? [13:03:48] [SEVERE] 2012-09-19 13:03:48 [SEVERE] A critical error has occurred. java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 1024 at RalphPath.dequeue(RalphPath.java:43) at RalphPathfinder.addToPath(RalphPathfinder.java:106) at RalphPathfinder.createEntityPathTo(RalphPathfinder.java:63) at MineColonyEntityMovementHelper.canFindPathToWithin(MineColonyEntityMovementHelper.java:843) at EntityCitizen.wander(EntityCitizen.java:681) at EntityCitizen.workerUpdate(EntityCitizen.java:258) at EntityWorker.J_(EntityWorker.java:438) at xd.a(World.java:2086) at xd.f(World.java:2057) at xd.n(World.java:1939) at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.k(Minecraft.java:1871) at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.x(Minecraft.java:825) at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.run(Minecraft.java:753) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

Hi Peter!
I think the machine should do fine: Corsair 8GB (2x4096MB) CL9 1333Mhz XMS3 DDR3 Intel Core i5 2500K 3,3GHz Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Ti OC 1GB Intel® SSD 510 Series (120GB, 2.5in SATA 6Gb/s, 34nm, MLC)
I have 4GB RAM allocated to Java, and 4Gb allocated under Minecraft options
thanks in advance

tried lowered the ram on minecraft to 2GB, and still have 4GB on Java, so far so good (1 hour and counting) Remember total memory on comp is 8GB, so might not be a good idea to have 4GB on each

I also have 8GB of DDR3 and run Minecraft with the default Java memory (1GB??) and have never had this sort of issue.
My Machine is an i7 with a Radeon 6900 Series graphics card - Windows 7 64-bit

I used to use LB Photo Realism x256, but I disabled that when I started to get the saving chunks error. I think the problem started when my colony grew to big, so I played with the defualt texture for a while and the problems disappeared. But after a while (when my village had expanded a bit more) the problems came back. This made me realise that the saving chunk error was a memory issue. So I bought another 8Gb of ram for a total of 16Gb, which is allocated as follow: 5Gb for Java 8Gb for minecraft. Now I can play for numerous hours without crashing, so might happen just once per evening which is fully tolarable. Now my village has a pop of 70, and I use LB> Photo realism at x256. So with that concluded, I can safely say that my error message is guaranteed to have been cause of lack with RAM. Would be nice for the dev.s if they could make some sort of log that says critical error = Out of Memory Thanks for the feedback Peter, hope this thread help someone with the same issue Best regards / Quiso
