Exactly, Vega. I don't want to play Skyrim and then not want to go back to Oblivion, and miss out. I don't have any of the expansions installed. We kinda thought it best to do just vanilla for my first playthrough. I watched my bf play some of shivering isles though, so I know I eventually want to try that out. (Side question: Did the Dark Brotherhood questline bum you out too?)
Lol, yeah. I heard about the horses. My brother figured out how to solve the graphics glitches he had... dunno what he did though. He and my boyfriend were talking about it.

There's nowhere near any gamebreaking bugs in skyrim... The worst I've seen is a invisible wall at certain angles, which really only distracts you for a moment.
I thought the dark brotherhood quests were fun, thieves guild beats all in oblivion though, heh

the graphics bugs I am getting is foggy/see through textures on walls/flags/creatures at certain angles..
not game breaking by any sense, but annoying none the less..

Nvidia Geforce 8800 GT here, not a great card but it runs skyrim pretty well.

I think the Geforce card is what my BF's running.
I got all kinds of pissed when Lucien has you do the Purification. Tried to kill him actually... wouldn't let me. I didn't really like the quests after that. I mean, the contracts made sense up until the family. The ones after the family make sense in retrospect, but yeah. I didn't like doing the Purification, and I didn't like the family one. I also didn't like the like last 2 quests. Trying not to be spoilerific for those who haven't played... makes it hard to get my point across methinks.
I only had one problem with the Thieves' Guild. You steal the staff, and then give it back. You steal the scroll and you don't. My bf assumes the Fox gives it back afterwards, but it doesn't say either way. That particular scroll's more important than the staff was.

Well, an assassin takes orders from their speaker. That's just the way of things. A speaker loves their family as much as anyone else, and if they deem purification necessary, then they believe that's the only way they can continue to protect their family.
Thieves on the other hand generally dont ask what happens to stuff after a job is done, it's really not their place. Also, the staff was mainly a message, the scroll had purpose.

Way to be off topic. Apparently the Sims 3 does not like the way I play. My save is partially corrupted. *sad* On the other hand, my wireless card decided not to be broken today.

I find myself rage quitting in MW3 when I start firing before my opponent, but still die first !!! (I know - lag/ping etc.. but still !!!) I used to play EQ and WoW pretty hardcore (got my full Earthfury Set in Molten Core - WoW Vanilla) - vast time sink... Wouldn't say I was addicted but it was a BIG focus at the time....

Getting gear is alot easier in WoW now. The gear out of 5 man heroics is better than T11 heroics, on par with regular firelands. Plus they're easy. I'm capable of tanking them and I'm the worst tank in the history of all things bad. (might be a bit of an exxageration, but yeah, I hate tanking)
