Sooooo, I had my builder build the castle. yeah I put it too close to a mountain and now I'm excavating it from said mountain. Does anyone have any detailed pics of the front of the castle so I can see what i'm trying to dig out? Kinda cool though. Feels like an archaeological dig on a grand scale.

Ahhh thank you very much. All I had before was what was on the wiki page and that didn't help much. I have downloaded and saved these images for reference!
Thanks again.

You can change these lines in your minecolony.propertiesbuilderInstabuild=false builderInfiniteResources=false into
builderInstabuild=true builderInfiniteResources=true and he just needs 2 minutes ;D

I started building this misjudged how big the castle actually was and how far away from the chest he would start building. So its across a river and deep into a forest away from the chest. Luckily I've had time to clear the forest but its also above the ground a bit so its a magical floating castle now..lol

I noticed this when my builder destroyed a mountain to build my Town Hall, he had something like 8 coal blocks in his chest after he completed the Town Hall. I had to place the blocks and mine them to get the coal. >.< But as I was saying, the builder could essentially be used to quickly excavate a mountain or a forest and not lose any of the resources. ^.^

When i initially did the ship. The river wasn't wide enough so it was inserted into a hill. I had to go inside the ship and dig it out from the inside out in order to find it all. It of by no means been a good and easy way to cut out that hill.
But that was probably because it was insta-built in the beginning without a builder. Might be different it was the builder building it.

it depends if the floorplan is set up to have "spaces" as blocks the builder ignores or blocks the builder is told to convert to air (either .. on the floorplan or two "spaces") - With the .. he will remove whats there, with the spaces he effectively just ignores that block (so whatever is currently there remains) This is the functionality used to ensure block chests do not get destroyed when upgrading buildings The castle2 and castle3 floorplans unfortunately have spaces and not double dots, so the builder will ignore the empty blocks leaving whatever is currently there

However, I don't recommend doing this with buildings that have a chest as it will remove the chest as well.

I think the floorplan needs work.. Built it in my test world yesterday, and there is NO WAY of getting up to the upper levels of the castle, no sub floors in the towers etc.. Looks fantastic, but isn't very practical

But when you are on the upper level, you can walk through the whole castle.
