morak, let me guess, you are playing on hard?? I'm testing on all the difficultly settings. I will include that information in future post. Is their documentation regarding how the game play changes with difficulty. I would like to help test those features without generating False Bug reports. P.S. Cool Idea to have effects based on difficulty rating.

I'm not sure it has been fully documented (as it's likely to change over time as new chests etc are added.) If you can provide a round up of the current supplies at each level I'll add the info to our Wiki, and the www.minecolonymod.net website I am constructing

Hard - nothing. Normal - 3 stacks of wood, cobblestone, 1 stack of wool, 1 stack of glass Peaceful - Same as above plus 1 stone pick, 2 stone shovel, 1 stone axe, 1 stone hoe, 3 citizen chest, 1 miner, 1 lumber, 1 farm Oops, almost forgot 10 gold coins. A good early use of them is to sell them to get some iron (you could pinch a gold block from the ship to make a bank block). The workers go through stone tools like mad and if you don't keep up on them your production will grind to a halt. Later on you will want to cash in your coin for diamonds.
Although I can't bear myself to do it (cause it is just too cool looking, besides I sleep in it until I get the townhall built) the ship could be stripped for a good amount of resources, especially gold and wool.
Also peaceful when you place the miner chest you get a half a stack of torches in the chest.
Also if you and Coco want some help with the wiki let me know.

Shiftclicking on coins (when in bank GUI) causes "saving chunks" Not sure if this is your issue or an inventory mod (or is it just vanilla? I forget) I was using convenient inventory & inventory tweaks. I just removed them both and using infinitiesloop control pack (really nice combination of features by the way; the best of which is being able to control volume for doors (villagers annoy the piss out of me open and shut all the time) and portal (sound from itjust annoys me in general) independantly.

Hey, I had these six problems (I glanced over the thread and no one posted these) after the RC16b update, and with no other mods installed:
1. Builder got halfway through Warehouse4 and stops. *notice that wool is added in Warehouse3*
2. Builder sometimes stops working on project and walks between his citizen hut (not his builder hut) and his project. This happened to me on the Warehouse1 and Blind1. Seems to be fine the next MC day though.
3. DoubleChests in Warehouse look funny. the one block will be invisible and the other block will be rotated sideways and half of a doublechest. simply cosmetic, works fine.
4. Two of my citizens with different names became farmers at one farmer chest. The second followed the first a couple blocks behind and mimicked the first.
5. Farmer seems to have no regard for the working range I give him in the properties file. He started farming far out of range.
6. Builder seems to have some trouble with Minerhut3. It looks different everytime I construct it.
This is a great mod btw, and I don't mean to take anything away from it, just wanted to help troubleshoot.

Was there sufficient grass etc in range.. I think the farmer can sometime wander off in search of seeds (tall grass) and such if there is none in range..

cdroid, 1. That seems to happen to me very often, if it is the same issue I have, you will notice the builder removes the buildsign as well. Just keep going in and reissueing the build order and he will eventually finish.

Mine Colony stopped working for me with mine craft 1.1 update. I reinstalled but was still unable to build builder chests or the supply ship.

Almost every mod will crash when Minecraft updates. It's pretty much a rule: If you mod Minecraft, don't update until your mods are up-to-date.

I believe the farmers range increases when you upgrade his hut.
The double chests are a known problem, still have to figure that one out.

Bug: if farmer is placed in desert he is ask for a shovel and hoe and then paces without speaking. Bug: Builder unable to build level 3 builder hut (unable to find file)

There was sufficient grass, what I had done was made a flat 20X20 square of grass and put a cobblestone block 11 blocks out, and set his range to 9. He kept farming further and further, and he had plenty of seeds in his chest, so he wasn't looking for seed or that was another bug.
