Chris, see Pmardles posts (towards the begining of his) and some of my earlier posts. Some of the floorplans have some errors in them. House2 and Warehouse2. I noticed the Barracks does as well, the basement was removed but the stairs are still there (but that is one of those optional buildings anyway). There are a few buildings I haven't done yet but I think that is all (well more or less, miner always seemed a little offskew to me with the furnace placements).
When he says cloth he does indeed mean wool. Are you sure there isn't something else holding him up? He is reporting everything he needs to build the building, whether he has it or not. Things you didn't used to have to give him he needs now (I haven't upgraded any to house3 yet, will be tonight)

Here is an unofficial fixed house2 floorplan: dl.dropbox.com/u/52260002/house2.floorplanand warehouse2: dl.dropbox.com/u/52260002/warehouse2.floorplanI haven't tested the warehouse (since my current one is level 4) but it should work. Yes, the level 3 house has always (or at least as long as I have been a user lol) had a green wool roof. Grass? You must be missing some around the outside. Fix the dirt and wait for grass to grow or NEI yourself some and give it to him. That goes right up there with asking for fire and watersource lol.

i personally dont like wool roofs or walls for various reasons: -they can burn -they can easily be destroyed -they look unrealistic as roof/wall -the npcs kill all sheep before i can get enough wool
is there any chance you make a second official floorplan release without wool?

We are using wool to make colored roofs as it is in Anno games.
Maybe we will add block for the roof (straw, tile, ... ), but I don't hink it will be in near future.

If your THAT set against wool in the buildings, just manually edit your Lexicon file (back it up first ofc) to change the reference to wool to point to the block type you would like to use instead

Is it still possible to test RC17? I love this Mod and I would love it even more to be a tester for your mod!

I'd recommend changing the floorplans instead of the Lexicon (you may want wool somewhere for something). That is the beauty of this mod though; don't like the buildings; change them. I know how you feel about the fire. I have had my townhall hit by lightning. I'm probably going to redo all of my level 4 in construction foam (fire and creeper proof, plus it can be colored just like wool).

So i was going to ask this even before i read the thread, should i change the 'what i need' message to just list the raw materials, like cobble/logs/glass?
Hmm, fire, thats a tough one, i'll have to just have him give that to you for free.

I'm probably going to redo all of my level 4 in construction foam (fire and creeper proof, plus it can be colored just like wool). i'm not that much into the matter of editing floorplans yet, but i am trying to make those "level 0" floorplans as markers that can be built before building the full building into another one or conflicting with landscape. just edited the one for the townhall "townhall0.floorplan" and will test it right now. if its working well, i offer to write those for all the buildings so it can be added to the release. edit: before i forget: if i adjust the warehouse chest in level so the stairs would fit the surrounding area, the builder kills himself by building. i think the floorplan should be completely changed. edit2: i tested and it went good i put a block of wood to represent the townhall chest and it was a full success. the only downside would be, that it already deletes blocks, so it would "eat" into other buildings and landscape... so there's my question: does the builder simply delete those blocks completely, or are those ressources gathered by him? if he also gathers the ressources, i'll abuse him as a miner

Hmm, fire, thats a tough one, i'll have to just have him give that to you for free. Might not be a bad idea. Especially when he says I need 2 wooden doors and a bed and he wont use the ones that he has. Dont forget still water as well. Putting a bucket of water in his chest didn't do it for him. I think those 2 are the only ones that there is no legitimate way to acquire for the player. Oops, forgot lava. Lava would be the same as water. Make the builder use flint & steel and buckets lol

I'm pretty sure floorplan files will parse the same ww=17 statements that are in the lexicon. He could remap oo for just that one file.

So i was going to ask this even before i read the thread, should i change the 'what i need' message to just list the raw materials, like cobble/logs/glass? That would be great! - Raw materials only would also reduce the sheer size of the message - often it's three lines long...
