Seeing as its time consuming to test the builder, i'd like to request some people to try out RC17 and give me their bug reports. I don't want another wool fiasco.
Please send me a PM if you'd like to take an early look.

Ok.. Feedback from my Testing Builder is now Mr Awesome - great job... Couple of issues I have found A single size chest is pretty small now he stores all excess building components seperately (vines, grass, stairs, doors, trapdoors etc.. I saw his chest about 90% full at one point, which didnt give me much room to give him additional resources.. any chance that you can get double chests to work ?? Also when building Hunters Blind 3 upon completion, he was stuck at teh second level balcony OUTSIDE the fence, so to get off he had to fall (but didn't do this voluntarily, I had to push him off..) Citizen recall seems to work fine.. P.S. any chance of getting the bank chest to build it's own building ?? More feedback to come when I spot anything

Ok Kinda fixed the chest issue by manually adding some extra chests in there into which I cna put resources, but he still fills up his single chest with "leftover" items Town Hall roof Void at levels 1 & 2 is a great mob spawner - any chance of adding some torches in there to the plan Heard some noise up there so went to investigate and found 2 creepers, 3 zombies and enderman and a spider

Just noticed while the builder was building Townhall 4, he held some strange blocks in his hands.. Snadstone , mossy cobblestone and orange wool.. even though those aren't used in the building ??

OK..
I THINK he's stuck part way through townhall 4 Needing "Fire" - although how the hell I give that to him..
Problem is he doesnt JUST tell you what he is short of now, but lists everything he needs to complete the building, so you dont know what exactly he needs at that point in time
EDIT: Sleeping for the night seemed to kickstart him again

Wierd... I put a couple of stacks of Sandstone in the chest and he has taken them.. He took them along ith Smooth Stone part way through townhall 4 EDIT: Ok.. When he needs something made from Smooth Stone.. He will Take any Sandstone that is in the chest but ONLY if there is smooth Stone in their too.. He doesn't seem to use these for anything (i.e. Put 5 stacks of sandstone + 1 stack of smoothstone - he'll take all 6 stacks but only build the equivalent of 1 stack of stuff..) BTW if you kill the builder he only drops chests - nothing else he is apparently carrying

ok FINALLY finished Townhall 4..
During this constructon he seemed to want an inordinate amount of cobble during upgrade 4 when he's supposed to be using smoothstone and wool mainly.. This cobble seems to dissapear, but when he has FINISHED townhall 4 he puts it LL back in the original builder chest - for me this equated to about 12 stacks of cobble (and a few stacks of other stuff)
Seems something isnt quite right with him working out what he needs...
No sign of the sandstone BTW

Ok,
House2 Plan is building 1 block out of position, which makes him destroy the sign....

I didn't have a problem with townhall4 (although I had to use NEI to get fire...) I am having a problem with houses going to level 2. Doing the same old build part of the upgrade then remove sign. I tell building to build again, which places the level 2 sign again, he comes over does something with dirt in his hand and then removes the sign again. Scratch that about house2, read your last post That would be the issue. Only the houses, all other buildings have upgraded fully. I cheated in materials with NEI but I did not use any of the debug options from Minecolony. Warehouse 2&3 acting up with the chests again. Level 4 completed fine. The thing with the bank Pmardle is it's a useless building, so if you want it build it then put a bank chest where the grass block is. I prefer to keep my bank near the townhall chest. Speaking of, GUI is working fine with NEI now (not off to the side anymore). Townhall chest still doesn't take items, work around is putting a chest in the room with them and the townhall inhabitants will put stuff in it. I'd really like to see them evicted or at least cut down to 1 couple as well since the incessant slamming doors makes me nuts. Brick (redbrick made from clay, stonebrick seems fine) he grabs it but never builds with it and never puts it back (some custom buildings use this, none of the defaults do). Couple other things that I reported to Scott already. Don't leave money in bankchest, it vanishes when you logout (I am accustomed to storing it there). Bridges bugged.

Warehouse2 is the problem for the warehouse. Most (if not all) of the floors are off by 1 row. Add a blank row or a row of dots to the first line of each.

I think that there is just a huge problem with orientations (or at least was in RC16b) where Beds and chests wouldn't build in the indicated direction. I did some floorplan tests and figured out that the chest and bed rotations are off by 1
