I see what Do You mean. Description from builder.txt For the wall type, the top is always height blocks above the base. For the bridge type, the top stays at the same level no matter what the base does. For the gwoc type, the top attempts to follow the base, but only adjusts its height one block at a time. Ok, so I'm an idiot. It is already exactly what I was suggesting. I didn't think to check all the current plans to see that they are GWOC. So all I'd have to do is change the type to "wall" and they do exactly what I want.

Huskerman, I had that same problem when I was trying out Buildcraft and found out that it was too much for my computer. So I don't think that furnace problem is related to any particular mod, (it might be but I don't think so, I am not an expert I think it is one way of Minecraft telling you that something is messed up. So maybe try reinstalling the mods, if that doesn't fix it I don't know what to do. Thanks for you input. I found out that it was that Minecraft Forge needed to be updated.

This mod still doesnt work. Installed it properly and its as if the content just is not there. BEFORE YOU START RAGING or asking me to post you logs, im not an idiot. Ive been running my own custom server for more than a year. Im not missing any steps and im not inept. This thing just doesnt run. It does nothing. None of the content appears in game and nothing can be crafted. Obviously it works for SOME people. Even assuming you installed it right, the logs will help us track it down. If you are adamant about not posting logs, fine, but i don't see why you would want to hamper our ability to troubleshoot your situation. As a longshot.... can you check the modloader config, make sure mine colony is set to Y.

I'm still confused where the discussion of walls for 20 blocks/great wall of china type walls correlates to the floorpan files.
I've found
build wall1 20
works fine, but
build wall2 20
gives a unknown floorplan error.
Also, which are the gowc plans? Are they the wallcity1-4 plans?

None of the content appears in game and nothing can be crafted. If you are going to ask for help after you clearly installed it wrong and refuse to show logs, you are an idiot. I installed it on my pc, my daughter's pc, two friends and my laptop. It does work and works great. I run a personal server that friends and family use as well and I make dumbass little mistakes all the time when installing mods. It can be easy to miss a step in the directions when installing mods etc. I sincerely doubt anyone was going to rage at you for asking for help, but your general attitude and lack of information (logs) really makes it difficult to assist you.

I need help. I installed mod loader and MineColony rc17 but ,if i start the game it just starts minecraft and not the mod ,but the logs say that minecolony was started. Does anyone know a solution for my problem ? Have you tried to make a block in creative such as the town hall to see what happens if anything? Does it show up as a different recipe, possibly from another mod or does nothing happen at all? Interestingly I was using ID resolver and it was loading a different recipe when I was trying to make a hut block. I literally manually redid all of the IDS for all of my mods and saved them in a text file and update that when I change IDs so I can keep track. Anyways, double check to see if the recipe for a hut block is having any effect whatsoever, or not at all

First large praise to the developers! But there is a small problem with the Recipes of the iron Zcepter. Me is admits that is without function. There is an overlap with a Mod. To explanation I attached a few pictures. How can I change that? Can I deactivate iron Zepter in the Minecolonie conf. File?

Iron (and gold) sceptre is an obsolete item at this time, and serves no use in the mod.... Use IDResolver if your having ID clashes with other mods...

Use IDResolver if your having ID clashes with other mods... I use IDResolver. But IDResolver repair not all problems. That is however not which I means. The recipes for drill is iron left, the recipes for scepter is iron right. That should n different recipes its. But where the iron is all the same, on the right of or left, it is always scepter

That may be because the recipe fro the drill (or sceptre) is a free placement recipe.. and therefore could potentially be exactly the same - the game gets confused between two possible results and guesses which one you want...
Which mod is the drill from ?

... Also, which are the gowc plans? Are they the wallcity1-4 plans? ... See second line in the floorplans. all wallCity and wallCastle are gwoc. Right click with golden scepter on villagers make them follow You. Also maybe it will be used for guards.

Runekiller: The mod doesn't spawn people or buildings automatically. You have to craft the Town Hall chest before the mod actually starts doing anything. This mod still doesnt work. In what thread did anyone rage at someone for asking for help? We ask for logs because that is the fastest way to figure out what the problem is. If you don't post logs, it can be near impossible to figure out the issue, so I do not understand your problem with posting logs. You have a d--- attitude, and people are still willing to help you. I think that says something. All the regular forum users can get it to run. I have no problem running the mod. The problem is not with the mod itself. Either your download got corrupted somehow, you installed it incorrectly, or there's a mod conflict. Those are the only options. Before you point this out as "raging" yeah, no sh-t. I'm irritated that you came to my board and outright insulted the very users you're asking for help from. It was unprovoked and unnecessary. Neither I nor anyone else on this board would rage at someone just for asking for help. Now, as for the possible solutions to your problem: In case your download got corrupted somehow (and yes, that has happened before, where files were missing for no explainable reason), redownload MineColony and try again. If ModLoader isn't installed correctly, or isn't the right version, the mod won't work. I've installed more mods than I care to think about, and even I screwed this one up when installing RC17. Out of habit, I installed ModLoader for 1.0. Mistakes are made by everyone. (Logs would of course tell us if this was the case.) Remember, if you don't install ModLoader first, MineColony will not work. I made that mistake when I got a fresh .jar file and reinstalled the correct ModLoader. It erased all the MineColony files... I had assumed it wouldn't because the MineColony files were not in the jar. If you're running multiple mods, there is ALWAYS a chance that there are mod conflicts. Even if previous versions of the mods worked together, the current versions might not. Make sure to try running MineColony with no other mods (aside from ModLoader, of course) installed. Without logs, those are the only solutions I can give you.

Are you out of block ids? 105 is a Minecraft default and lumberjack chest default is like 135. I assume you are using idresolver.

Definitely an ID issue, right there. If you can use ID Resolver, or can figure out a block ID that isn't taken, you can change the lumberjack's ID in the minecolony.properties file, which should be located in your .minecraft folder.
