Sorry for double post
It is about the castle defender Mods. I think the newest version of their mod (Castle Defender 2.01) is for 1.81 while Mine Colony is still for 1.73

I tested it with the 1.7 version, because MineColony isn't compatible for 1.8 yet. Once the 1.8 version is out, I'm sure all the mods on the compatibility list will have to be tested again...

1.9 pre release is Apparently "out there" so 1.9 can't be far away anyway...

Apologies for not testing mods lately, been running 1.7.3 with my normal mod pack, which includes Minecolony and Equivalent exchange. If I were to test mods then I wouldn't be sure if a conflict was with Minecolony or EE.

Pft. Whatever, Vega. You've tested a bunch. I'm having fun testing a few.

Mods i use that are compatible
EllianDetector - an ore detector mod, text file can be edited to add block ID's you want shown. only shows ores if within certian height +/- 2blocks it seems. but will put little arrows pointing down to let you know a location several layers down.
Elemental arrows mod. had zero issues so far but i dont use it often, the kids like it.
Clay Soldiers mod. again, the kids play it, i've never played with it but they are all loaded and no one is complaining yet.
These mods all work together, does not mean they will not conflict with another mod your using that works just fine also. a+b work, A + C work, b+c hate you.

As of 1.8.1, I am running the following mods: Minecolony, Equivalent Exchange, IC², Redpower, and Buildcraft. (Along with all of the mods that each require) I find that buildcraft makes it easy to keep the delivery chest empty for your delivery man, just keep your pipes in the basement feeding to all the other chests in the room. It's possible to completely negate the need for a delivery man with buildcraft, but it's just easier on materials that way. EDIT- Also running TMI, SPC, and CCTV (a tv mod, pretty neat for checking up on villagers from my base of operations) EDIT 2 - Had a few PMs asking me how to get buildcraft to work with minecraft, normally we dont do this kind of support here but eh, what the hell. I use Buildcraft 2.2.1 with RC14 minecolony and I'm having no problems at all. If you have both of these and you're having problems, get fresh versions of modloader, modloadermp, forge, or any other requisite mods you may need.

I wonder if maybe we shouldn't have a separate compatibility list for the new RC... What do you think, Vega?

I tested MineColony for 1.7.3 with CastleDefender for 1.7.3. Those are compatible, but they haven't been tested for 1.8.1.
I'd start testing mods for 1.8.1, but my brother's getting married in a week, so my hands are kindof full getting ready for that.

Its because of humans+ and mo creatures that i decided to make the town defense upgrade. Did you try building walls or fences?

Post (in a new thread in the help section) the contents of your Modloader.txt file and we can probably work out the reason for your crashes..
FYI in theory just about EVERY mod should be compatible, as long as sprite/block ID's are configured correctly..

That applies to ModLoader mods, not ones that you actually install into the .jar file. If they have to modify original class files, there's going to be incompatibilities.
