Did you install modloader? Do you have a modloader.txt file that might contain clues?

I seems it loads, but when I will make a town chest. I put 8 planks with 1 paper in it, but cant select the working chest, its an empty block that I cant take out the crafting.

What modloader version did you use? Because I used modloader 1.8.1 and then installed minecolony 0.8rc14 and the game didn't get past the mojang logo Please post the modloader.txt file.

I re-loaded minecraft and modloader and now it works. I may just have needed to update my modloader.

my bad, it allowed me to create the town hall, however I can't place it down. it gives me a warning "Sounds not found in user/...minecraft/mods/minecolony town hall cannot be placed"

You need to place the sound files (named stone1.ogg through stone8.ogg) into /Users/____/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods/minecolony/

I have made a clean installed minecraft with a new modloader and MC. Start up is no problem, and it seems I can craft chest, dont now if it works. I know that the crash was a deal with inventory editor.
Edit I have try to play it for a while, but get the memory chuck error many many times.

Yes, i've noticed that sometimes the citizens don't die properly and sometimes they turn red. Thats one thing i am working on.
The farmer bug happened to me too, don't know if this is new with 1.8 or not.
Silver sceptre functionality was removed. You have to build your own fences.

It worked for me after half an hour later at least. I can declare that MineColony0.8rc14 is in fact compatible for the current Beta 1.8.1. So folks who said it doesn't work, please try again. It does. Currently searching for glitches. Will keep you guys update.

Hello humble minecraft lovers and magnificent mod developers.
I installed experimental build on 1.8.1 and game is running without problem.
But;
When you build town hall citizens beginning to spawn. When place another work chest (builder, farmer, builder eg.) it convert one citizen and he began to work. But when you do place second work chest (builder, farmer, builder eg.) it never convert any citizen to proper worker.
