Didn't see this elsewhere on the forum, thought it might be a fun way to share our feature wish lists for the mod (and perhaps if someone here has a pipe to the mod devs they could pass on the best ones for consideration

My first suggestion would be one to fix a problem almost everyone has had at least once, and that's the rotated upgrade problem. Just give some way for the build sign to recognize which direction the current building is facing (as long as the first upgrade as already been built already)

Delivery boy takes items needed by the people he visits, i.e. bread to citizens houses, picks to miners etc...
Terraformer Worker - when you place a special sign within x blocks of his house, he goes and digs/builds the surrounding area to the level of the sign.. i.e. place a sign saying "terraform 16 16 and he'll level off an area 16x16 blocks to the same level of the sign, either by diging away any higher blocks, or placing dirt in lower areas to bring it up to level...

The builder already makes the area he's building in flat... so I don't really see a need for a terraformer, but I can see why some people might want one.
Honestly, I want at least the baker done before considering new entities.

A Blacksmith who makes tools would be very nice too Maybe and adventurer/mercenary NPC who you can hire to accompany you on trips/dungeon crawls etc and will fight against anything you attack... Could make him configurable to Melee/Archer/Healer roles depending on what you give him... (sword for melee, bow and arrows for archer, food, or new item bandages for healer...

Actually I think one can do the terraforming using a build sign. Have your builder scan a large flat area (several times for different sizes if you want) and just throw down the build sign when you want to flatten things out.

Isn't a blacksmith already on the planned entites list? There's a guard and hunter, too, I think.

Any chance of making it so Farmers CAN'T destroy Fence Blocks...
Would be great to force a farmer to contain his farming to a set area you define via fences, rather than him merrily demolishing anything that comes within his area....

Ability to toggle what resources are collected by citizens/runners (Non-stackable items are bad..... ) Make Runners storage chest a double chest...

Actually I would enjoy it if the delivery man could access chests placed in his hut. Would take forever to get full if you've actually placed the maximum amount in there.

Making the D-man use other chests is something we've talked about for a while. Its getting there. I think the citizens already use whatever chest has free space, we just have to transfer that to the d-man.

- Repair button in building actions - to rebuild current plan and fix possible damage. - Custom building chest - to support custom floorplans.

The regular builder already supports custom floorplans. (Man, I really need to fix the builder page on the wiki...) There's a thread on this forum here that has instructions for scanning a building to create a custom floorplan, and where users are encouraged to share their floorplans. The wiki page for build signs is done. It contains basic instructions on how to use a build sign, as well as a list of floorplans included in the mod that can only be built with a sign.
