No it i'snt designed to work on a server.. (And Previous versions of MineColony will definitely not work HOWEVER our new version when released may well work to some extent on a LAN enabled local game.. As the core game is so closely based on the server version now anyway, it's worth giving it a try.. We're not specifically making it SMP compatible at the moment but it may still work Not there will still only be 1 colony, likely you will both be able to interact with..

Development of the updated MineColony/MineColonies mod took a shot in the arm yesterday when we added a new coder to our team. The coder is the main author of the ExtrabiomesXL mod, and is one of the coders for FORGE itself.. Needless to say his experience will be fantastic for progress... BETA version of MineColonies for 1.7.2 will be with our internal team for testing by the end of the month and we're aiming for a public release this side of Christmas

MineColonies is currently working although buggy (Runs in game but not fun to play due to bugs) for 1.6.2 - We'll be completing that for internal BETA testing by the end of November, and then push for a Public Release by Christmas.. If possible we will upgrade it to 1.7.x as we do this... Keep an eye on www.mcmresurrection.enjin.com as that is where the release will be published

Err MineColony never has added new ores, and as far as I know there are no plans to add them in in future..

All I can say is RC20 DOES work with Minecraft 1.2.5 if you have a correct version of ModLoader 1.2.5 - A lot of the Modloader 1.2.5 links out there take you to the "Latest" modloader version (or at least the last version when it stopped)

For a start MineColony is only compatible with 1.2.5 - Then you have to actually FIND a proper version of Modloader 1.2.5 - And then, use MineColony RC20..

Currently there is an option to turn "Zoning" on when placing a chest.. this gives you a semi-transparent box that shows you the overall dimensions of the building (no more overlapping buildings!!) - Eventually we want to change the building system to run of .schema files and use the "Schema" mod which lets you visualise the actual building in game before placement - that will be ultra cool. Oh yeah, and we have a version running under 1.6.2 now - Errors all gone having updated from 1.5.2, we just need to fix all the gameplay bugs now (The hard bit)!!

I cannot give permission for use of any of the MineColony mods up to and including the RC20 - Minecraft 1.2.5 version, as I was not involved in the development of them - you will need permission from Rscott666 for that.. As for the new version (MineColonies) - when it is released, yes you can use it in a video, as long as we know what the purpose of the video is first (is it a mod spotlight, a let's play, or just to add content into another sort of minecraft video? We will be looking for an "official" Mod Spotlight or similar for it as well at some point

The next release will be for 1.5.2 as it's "Almost" there..
After that we will update to whatever version of minecraft happens to be the latest at that time (Likely 1.7)

It's about to be released to our testers, however there are a LOT of bugs to work through.. We are at least a couple of months away from a reasonably stable release that can actually be played properly
